This is by far the finest and truest words of God for daily meditation. It sets every day right for me.
I had the book and faithfully used it as a daily devotional. Lost it recently in a move. The book is not easily found. Now for the modern age redistributed with bookmarks, AND A JOURNAL! I can even e-mail my daily bread to share with my closest friends. Helpful too, a place to write down my thoughts after prayerful meditation or meaningful reflection. "Love and laugh!" Its well worth the price. No crashes, easy to use interface. The best part is: its certainly unlike so many Apps that are used until the "newness" wares away. Then they just take up space on the page. Thank God for his High tech instruments of grace: for their intelegence and their wisdom, in this age of uncertainty and hopelessness. I really love these devotionals. I can read one anywhere. I like finding something that meets me right where I am.
I am a police officer and I use this daily to start my shift. I never know what the night is going to bring me and this app gives me something to concentrate on every night. Often times when I take a person in custody, I have an opportunity to speak with them about their beliefs and this app is a great reference to use in hopes of changing their decision making and on the path toward our savior.
I am so thrilled to find this as an app! This is one of my favorite books and I use it daily. Now I can have it in my purse wherever I go!!! I love that I can post it as a fb status as well!! Excellent!!! ;}
